santhwanam is a Registered Charitable Trust formed in the year 2009 for the cause and care of elders and children’s with the avowed objective of being of help to them. The trust had a modest programme of helping elders and children’s requiring help and rehabilitating them in some Homes in Pathanamthitta during the formative years .In the year 2010 the offer of a house in Mathoor, Omalloor at Pathanamthitta by a benevolent couple free of rent prompted the Trustees to start a Old Age Home with just 5 residents.. The building these inmates reside is kept hygienically clean always. This establishment consists of full time cook, nurse two female helpers, a full time supervisor and a par time doctor in attendance.
