An Abode for the poor cancer patients who reach for Radiation and Chemotherapy treatment. A charitable society has been registered and has started functioning with name “Welfare Society for poor Cancer Patients” to render service to the Cancer patients who reach at Medical College for treatment. This society will undertake the responsibility of building the Cancer Care Home. More than 15,000 patients including 4000 new patients seek treatment at Medical College per year. Eventhough excellent facilities for treatment are available, there are only limited facilities to meet the needs such as accomodation food etc of the multitude of patients and their bystanders.
